For those unfamiliar with the Burning Man event, it is a week-long festival of self-sufficiency and engineering art held in the Black Rock Desert of California (or is it Nevada?). The participants are known for ingenuity and alternative thinking.

The Busycle Project was the largest project completed at Sparqs this year. Pictures, plans, and video can be seen at the main site, but one of the most remarkable elements of the experience was the reactions of passers-by as 14 people pedalled the modified cargo van through the streets of Boston this September.
